The MPGD PROGRAM Education has to contend with the demands of global force as will as the unprecedented emerging trends in their respective societies educational policies and practices impact students' learning in a holistic way. Investment in education is the key to national development, national wealth and economic survival. This belief lead a team of committed professional to initiated Butwal Model College. Department of Development Studies has been established in the year 2009 with the affiliation from Pokhara University. It is the first affiliated college other than the University to offer Master in Population Gender and Development (MPGD) course. The aim of the college is to offer development oriented professional course to the motivated students in Western Region in Particular.
BMC is actually the latest institution to enter the NHC & KMC Educational Network. This network has established itself as a pioneer of its kind by successfully establishing more than half a dozen of educational institutions in the last twelve years. This level of classes it runs span from schooling to Master's Degree programs and the faculties- from Engineering to Humanities.
Grading system:
The grades marks awarded to a student in a course is based on his/her consolidated performance in internal and final examination. The latter grade in any particular subject is an indication of a student relative performance in that an indication of a student relative performance in that course.
